End Tables
If you were a casting agent and had to say what level end tables were, what would it be? Not the star, or the co-star, but maybe the co-star’s best friend’s mother? Where are you going to put those lamps or cups of coffee? Yep, this is one location that’s prime. We don’t want the end tables to match the coffee table. Noooooooooooo. The end table should be complementary to the sofa or chair that it is next to and “marry” the other accent tables or cabinets in the room. These pieces are wonderful if you have a view of them rather than placing them in a corner between a sofa and a chair. If they are not in view, maximize its presence in the layout by placing the end table with the most detail out in plain view. If you have a view of an end table, the base becomes an important factor to interact with the shape of the sofa, chair, or bench.
