Antique Wood Sideboard with Cast Iron Grate
It started about 25 years ago. Craftsmen were looking to incorporate “found” things into their creations. It was easy to find old tin squares or glassware but what to do with the cast iron grates. Part of The Arrangement history is to preserve the artifacts of the past in a functional manner. As making it into an antique grate sideboard. The versatility of the credenza is that it is decorative, pretty because of the iron work. It is two colors, brown the old favorite and gray the new favorite. Here is another example where brown and gray work together to create a dynamic warmth. Of course, the wood is salvaged reclaimed hardwood. It is bar height 44″ tall.
