Bent Tree Mesquite Bench

A bent mesquite tree is super rare.  Bent trees are clear Native American trail markers. The original residents of North American soil used to strap the trees down and allow them to grow so the bend became permanent. The bent tree would point in the direction of a path, stream, or river.

Did you know mesquite is four times denser than oak and to have a bent tree is an honor and a joy.  What a story.  Gather round for the story on what to do with this wonderful piece of solid mesquite wood.  If you have a curved sofa (we do if you don’t) use it as the mesquite live edge coffee table, sectional or use it as a bench for a round table.  It is so cool.
