Island Paradise Counter Bar Stool

Do you know why the kitchen island has more real estate in the home than some master bedrooms? It’s the central gathering space in the kitchen, the heart of the home; that’s it, plain and simple. Design-wise, I see counter bar stools as the “frame” around the kitchen island. A novel thought, but so much more creative in thinking. It opens the door on creating custom one-of-a-kind mixes of “traveled looks” that entertain the mind and spirit.

This counter bar stool has all the sleek lines of modern comfort. The outside back of the counter bar stool is a geometric array of weathered barn wood grays with burnished pyrite gold and sun-faded barn reds in a cascading linear fabric pattern. This brings the dynamic spark needed for starting a fired-up conversation at the island on 100% top-grain leather seats for hours of comfort. The use of charcoal/brown gray is a brilliant update. Only 5% of the world uses these leathers, mostly couture shoe companies and high-end handbag makers.

The tapered legs are stained an espresso brown black sanded back in some areas. The counter stool back also tapers to the top of the back creating a comfortable “pitch” to the chair.

Legacy furniture is what I call it. Buy the best that you can, and you will only buy it once.
