Whispers of the the wind over the mesas and the hot baking sun. Before the borders there were tribes. Regions of influence. The mountains were treacherous and the people of the mountains were rugged. Life was shared. No TV. So the Mogollon culture made pottery.
The softened tones of the contrasts between the gray and white is weathered and worn in a mysterious geometric pattern that could be from the Mogollons who just disappeared. Whereabouts unknown. But the artifact shards are left like breadcrumbs to follow to find out about these mountain dwellers.
All this in a weathered gray geometric pottery table lamp that has the handmade heritage of the West and is new and fresh interpretation of the art of pottery to be contemporary southwest.
In keeping with the original pottery of the Oasisamerica, the shade is a dramatic contrast to the grays and whites. The deepest navy imaginable. Beyond midnight. In Darkest Space.
