The Arrangement proudly supports Equest.
Equest provides Therapeutic Horsemanship activities and therapies to children and adults with physical, cognitive, sensory, coping and learning disabilities. The services provided include veteran programs, physical and occupational therapy, equine facilitated counseling, therapeutic carriage driving, therapeutic sports riding and competition.
Humans. Horses. Hope.
Equest was founded in 1981 by two ladies with two horses. One of the founders, Susan Schwartz had a vision that Equest would grow one day from a small local charity to become an industry leader, capable of changing lives worldwide. This vision has become a reality at Equest as we approach our 35th year anniversary.

And a BIG thank you to the Equest Team as well!
We absolutely LOVE getting to work with other organizations and give back to our local communities in both the DFW and Houston Metroplex. Below is a touching letter from the Equest Team we recently worked with, and we couldn’t be more grateful to get the opportunity to help this great team!
“You brought beauty and fun to our clients, volunteers, and staff – thank you for everything and see you at the Gala on May 7th!” – Equest Team
A Follow Up Letter from the Equest Team:
“Dear Katherine and Cheryl, I can not find enough words in my vocabulary to thank you for the grand donation you gave to Equest. I reached to touch the moon and you very humbly and with much joy presented us with the moon itself. I wish you could have seen our awe struck faces as we sat in the common area after you left. It is not that I don’t believe Equest deserves every bit of that beautiful common area you so graciously provided, but that I never dreamt of the extent of your generosity.
It was a pleasure working with you and everyone associated with The Arrangement, from the man in Houston who first took my message to you, to the happy and efficient movers we met. Cheryl I can’t thank you enough for your immediate support, creative mind and constant amiability and Katherine the munificent proprietor who took the time and effort to come up from Houston to assess the situation and proceed to give Equest such a wonderful gift. It was very insightful to witness you both creatively thinking the minute you entered the commons area. Then you returned in a whirlwind of energy, furniture and artwork to leave a glorious room in which to commune.
I could keep going on as I clearly do not have enough words to thank you. Just suffice it to say that you are a blessing sent to us. I selfishly include myself as I for one will be enjoying that luxury once or twice a week.”
